Absorbent Bin Containment Socks

Application

Absorbent socks mold around barrels, crates, machinery or refrigeration units to trap leaks and drips, allowing time for more extensive handling. Place along the edge of shelving or machinery to absorb seepage from spills which have spread underneath and are unreachable. They absorb overspray and block spills from sensitive areas such as drains and walkways.

Composition

Amorphous siliceous mineral silicate of various compositions mixed with high molecular weight synthetic cross-linked polymer. Other inert ingredients are proprietary.

Construction

Universal spun bound 8" outer absorbent skin. 1-5" universal spun bound inner skin is sewn together with the outer skin to add stability and absorbent disbursement. Two 8" yellow hollow braided ropes are attached to each end for handling and placement. Ropes are sewn in place with a 5 thread industrial surger and clipped by industrial tipper ties for added stability.
